These are my web travels for June 8th 2007 through June 10th 2007:
- Oscar’s Multi-Monitor taskBar – I heard about this free tool to help manage dual or multi-monitor displays in the comments on Lifehacker. This sounds like it has some great features which will be helpful now that I have a dual monitor setup.
- 20 Tips for More Efficient Google Searches – Dumb Little Man – While speaking of Google. This page offers great tips on maximizing the results of your searches.
- Google PageRank: What Do We Know About It? | Smashing Magazine – This page offers almost everything you ever wanted to know about Google Pagerank.
- Dell XPS m1330 performance ultraportable revealed – Engadget – This is a very sexy looking laptop that’s coming out from Dell. Did I really just use the words sexy and laptop in a sentence together?
- Last.fm-Mainstream-O-Meter – Ever wonder how mainstream the music you listen to is? Well wonder no more as long as you have a Last.fm account that you feed with when playing your music.
- Shifting Mind » Postalicious – Was having issues with my current del.icio.us plugin so I just changed to this one. Lets see how it goes.
- Tech Projects » WordPress HighSlide JS Plugin – I got lucky and found a wordpress plugin for the High Slide script I found earlier today. I’m still trying to decide if I like it better than Lightbox and I’m leaning towards yes.
- zoomquilt2.swf (application/x-shockwave-flash Object) – Here’s another trippy flash picture for those brave enough to view another one.
- LongPicture.swf (application/x-shockwave-flash Object) – Ok…this is a crazy interactive picture using flash that you can zoom in and out of by using your mouse by holding the left button and sliding it forward and backwards. I don’t recommend you view this if you’re under the influence or on any medication.
- myIPneighbors.com Reverse IP Domain Check DNS Tool – So your website is on a shared server eh? Here you can find out whether you’re in an upscale area or if it’s time to start a neighborhood watch program. Via Digg.
- Red Light Center! – I heard about this site on the KLSX radio in Los Angeles today and it sounded like an adult only version of Second Life. From the intro I’d say that is the case
- Well-formed data | Elastic lists | Nobel prize winners demo – This is an amzing visual interface example.
- Highslide JS – JavaScript thumbnail viewer – This is the script I chose to use for the site. It’s really nice.
- Max Kiesler- Strategic Designer – Here is another collection of scripts for a photo gallery. Very nice, clean site design too. I think this is a colleague of Emily Chang’s
- DHTML Site – 20 Free CSS Image Galleries + Slideshows – I was searching for some scripts to create a nice dynamic photo gallery page for a site I’m working on for X PRIZE and came accross this great collection.
I’m afraid you did. I never understood how people could consider technology to be sexy – unless, of course, we’re talking about a hot android. :)
