primal truth

January 1st, 1990 Posted in Poetry

honesty oozing
from these lips of lust
i close my eyes
and spit these truths
through my telephone receiver

i hear momentary silence
followed by interference
on the cordless
but none in my brain

it’s so liberating
to speak the mind
raw and unfiltered
if equally accepted
are it’s reciprocating consequences
