Just follow the easy steps and it should all be fine. As for me, i had the same problem however im a lazy fork and cannot be asked to find all the files and copy and paste till my hearts content therefore when trying to search for online servers (CoD4) i click on "Multiplayer Options" (center, top) and then look for "Punkbuster" and then click it untill it says "No".
