my game keeps quitting on me in multiplayer it says pb kick for losingkey packetws do you know anything about this?

You have to open your config.ini file in the players folder with notepad or similar and look for a setting Max Packets, change from 30 to 100.

i just got the game and i also got an wireless xbox controler for the computer and i was wondering if anyone nos how i can chang the setings on te gam so i can us a controler insted of the key board and mose

for tuskinraider8’s problem .. just note down what it says and type the EXCATLY into google and its the first (or second … ) result – note: its to punkbusters website.
on there it givees you the files to install PB Manually (as for some reason they wernt installed when it was done “automatically”.
Just follow the easy steps and it should all be fine.
As for me, i had the same problem however im a lazy fork and cannot be asked to find all the files and copy and paste till my hearts content therefore when trying to search for online servers (CoD4) i click on “Multiplayer Options” (center, top) and then look for “Punkbuster” and then click it untill it says “No”.
Dont worry there are still LOADS of servers (i’m happily finding hundereds of servers), and they arnt ‘tossers’ or ‘pricks’ .. there kinda cool

i have this game on pc when i go multiplayer online then i go to find game and it says downloading game settings and nothing happens its gets stuck anyone can help me?

ok first go into filter setting and turn OFF mods ..
then go into options and turn off downloading..its bad for the game..
i know this will help..

me and my friend try to play together online but every time one of us gets online we interupt the others connection. we both have different copies, same internet, same patches. anyone know wat to do??

Joe – make sure you have the most updated patch version 1.7.568 – this will be located in the bottom right corner of your screen on your MP Menu..

I’m unable to play this game on Single player mode. i have 2 backup dvd of this game. installation of this game was easy, i’m even able to play multiolayer but when i choose SP it sys insert the correct dvd rom and my dvd is still in the drive.

im not pc literite, and just got this labtop, its a dell, my new game i just bought a few days ago wont install, it takes 35 min or so then says error, can anyone please let me know what i need to do or download in order to be able to just play the game at least?? thank you very much for your help

I need help with the cheat console. Whenever I put in the command for giving weapons to myself, it never works but every other cheat I have tried works. So does any one know what is wrong?
