another lost soul

January 1, 1990

if i died tomorrow
my soul would drift in anger,
because i have yet to love
someone other than flesh and blood

the need to love someone unconditionally
carries by far
the strongest feelings in life for me
i dare not imagine
my life ending in such frustration
being unable to experience life’s greatest gift
